Alexander's Trading Company is a philatelic mail order business with roots in the late 1960's. We buy and sell World Wide postage stamps, covers, collections and related material. See the "About Us" page for more personal background information.
WHAT DO WE OFFER?
World Wide Postage Stamps, Covers,Cinderellas and other philatelic material on our extensive inventory lists below. We also offer a convenient order form. This material can be ordered by e-mail, fax, snail mail or telephone. These lists are NOT linked to our shopping cart. See our Terms of Sale on each list and also at the bottom of this page.
Free Newsletters..... We send a 22 page Newsletter every 10 days by e-mail (or snail mail) featuring new material and special offers and discounts to our most active customers. New material is offered in the Newsletter to our active customers BEFORE it is listed on our site. You can receive the Newsletter by sending us your e-mail (or snail mail) address. We never share addresses with anyone else.
Indonesia Specialists will want to go to "Our Gallery" where we have listed extensive specialized material from all periods and areas of Indonesia. The Gallery is connected to a shopping cart, but you can also use our order form and submit orders in all the other ways. We offer FREE downloadable illustrated Catalogs of stamps of the Local Revolutionary issues of Java, Sumatra and the South Molluccas (click at the top left).
We do NOT accept or reply to want lists. If it isn't on our site or in our Newsletter, we do not offer it for sale. We do NOT send out approvals.

We maintain stock lists of hundreds of thousands of stamps, covers and collections and update these lists every time we add or sell out of items. On this site we offer our entire inventory in PDF files you can browse. It is not possible for us to post changes every time we make one, so we post new UPDATED lists every Friday.

PRINT OUT "OUR GALLERY" LISTINGS
We have a “Print Out” feature on our web site. When you go to the Gallery, the list of Categories comes up. When you click on a Category, the Directory page include the option to create a PDF Download of all the listings in the category. On your computer screen, the illustrations will be in full color. Depending on your printer, you can print in black and white or color. If you do not have a useable printer, you can request a black and white print out from us.
WE BUY STAMPS AND COLLECTIONS
We are always interested in acquiring new material. We do not cherry pick or sharp shoot...we prefer to buy the whole thing. We do appraisals and offer advice on estates. Let us know how we can be of service.
TERMS AND DISCOUNTS
10% DISCOUNT on orders over $50.00 for individual stamps and sets. NO DISCOUNT on collections and year sets which are marked "NET" prices. This discount will be applied to orders after they are received and does not show up on the site driven invoices.
Payment in US Funds only by check or money order. We also accept Visa, MasterCard, Amex and Discover.
Postage and Handling $3.00 per stamp order to the USA and CANADA. In general, we do not ship Overseas. P&H for Lots is $10.00 in the USA/Canada. Registration is $10.00 (optional). We do not accept PayPal.
